Why go green? Here’s how to make your own inexpensive contacts

Costco and other retailers are offering new low-cost contacts for use in a variety of applications.
In a recent blog post, Costco CEO Doug McMillon wrote, “As we begin to shift toward sustainable products and a world in which the environment is not only a concern, but a concern of ours, we need to be able to produce high quality, affordable contact lenses that work and fit perfectly in our stores.”
Some of the new products include “green” contact lenses from the company’s brand, which are made from organic materials.
“There is no other company in the world who has a commitment to using natural materials to produce contact lenses in the same quality and durability,” McMillon writes.
“The new costco green contact lens is made from an organic material and is 100% natural.”
Costco is one of many brands offering new, low-priced contact lenses for use on animals.
These include “gigantic” lenses made of plastic, glass, metal, and ceramic, as well as “gift” lenses for people to use on their children.
As of this writing, Costco had only two “green contact lenses” on sale.
The “green,” “green gift” lenses were made of a different material.
A Costco spokeswoman told The Wall St. Journal that the “green lenses” were a partnership between Costco and the Humane Society of the United States, which is the parent organization for the organization that provides the “Green Light” program.
This program aims to make the world a better place through adoption of sustainable products, while at the same time encouraging people to be environmentally responsible.
According to the Humane, “The Green Light program has provided more than 8,000 animals with contact lenses since its inception in 2002, making it one of the largest and most successful cruelty-free initiatives in history.”

Many people are trying to save money on their health care costs with alternative health care plans and medications.
But the cost of medications and tests for diseases like COVID-19 and allergies are skyrocketing.
New research from the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) found that the average price of a prescription drug in the U.S. jumped nearly 4% last year, up from $7,500 to $11,700.
One of the biggest drivers of that increase was an increase in the cost for prescription drugs.
That increased cost, in turn, led to an increase of about 20% in the number of people who had to pay out of pocket for a prescription, HSPH said in a report last year.
For the average person, that increase translates into $15,000 or more a year.
But the costs of a hospital stay or a doctor visit aren’t the only way that you can save money.
And if you live in an area that’s getting hit hard by the virus, you may have a harder time finding affordable prescription drugs for those of us who need them.
It’s also possible that the increased costs of these medications are making it more difficult for many people to find treatment options.
Some are calling for new regulations to ensure that we are paying a fair price for prescription medication, and some are calling on the federal government to put in place strict limits on the amount of medication that can be prescribed for a single patient.
Health experts have said that such a policy would help people with chronic illnesses like COLLD, which affects about 1.5 million Americans.
Costco has been trying to address that concern by offering a limited number of prescription drugs and a plan that does not require a prescription.
